Actually taking the right foods can help you increase your ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort. Some nutrients like complex carbohydrates, omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, fibre and vitamins are actually the energy boosters that can help your body live up to the relentless challenges of life. Eating egg daily can keep fatigue away.

3.     Fish intake: Fish contains Omega-3 fatty acids which are very important for the optimal functioning of the body and brain. Omega-3 deficiency can cause chronic fatigue and poor memory.

4.     Eating green leafy vegetables: Iron deficiency can lead to lack of stamina. An absence of adequate iron to make hemoglobin will make the body struggles to carry out its everyday functions. The savior is eating green leafy vegetables. Green leafy vegetables are packed with iron and fibre and they augment your RBC (red blood cells) count, aiding proper circulation of blood and oxygen to the body. Whenever you have a long day at work you can treat yourself by taking a fresh orange or lime juice.

6.    Eating banana: Bananas are a very rich source of potassium, complex carbohydrates and fibre. Bananas are renowned for their energy-boosting powers. Eating bananas also increase the release of dopamine, which is the feel-good hormone in the body that makes the task at hand seem less exhausting.

8.    Eating Almonds: Anytime you observe your energy levels dropping, you can reach for some almonds. Almonds help in boosting metabolism, in turn improving your stamina.
